The Creative Stamptuary: July 2013

This is my busy time of year, in fact as this posts we're getting ready for our summer family trip! So, I decided that I need to get back online and participate but the only way it would happen this month is if I Kept It Simple. And so, as I dug through my new catalog goodies and the beautiful combinations of the new In Color Inks... I decided to make these two little cards quick and easy.

I used 2 of our Whisper White Note Cards (107311) and the Show & Tell 1 Photo Polymer Stamp Set (133450) My In Color Choices were: Coastal Cabana (131175), Strawberry Slush (131178), and Baked Brown Sugar (131174). I was inspired by the use of the hexagon stamp on a cute little treat bag of the "See the Possibilities" Flyer for the Show & Tell Bundle (134533) that comes with both Show & Tell 1/2 stamp sets and the online class "See the Possibilities".

I love using the Photo Polymer Stamps! They cling to the acrylic blocks like a dream and they load up the ink really well. These are pretty solid stamps and the ink went on so smoothly. I decided to make a little flower design with the Hello stamp around the circle stamp for the flower center. It took me just a few minutes to make and I think they're cute. I personally think I like it better without the border (see below) but I wanted to play around a little with the stamp set. What do you think?
